1. First off...one of my best friends hooked me up with a job interview at her work place. I had the third and final interview today with the director and afterward they asked if I could just start training right then and there. So...I HAVE A JOB!!! (Not that I didn't have a job before; I loved lifeguarding and working at the pool, but this fulltime!) So yeah...I trained for a bit today. My official position is administrative assistant at North Western Mutual. I'll be working for about 10 life insurance agents processing and helping to complete/track the applications for their clients. It'll be a LOT of work, but I'm ready for it!
2. Then I had been planning on getting my name changed sometime this week, realized with a fulltime job that I probably wouldn't have time to wait in any long lines to get it done, so I went in and got my Social Security card changed...so I think that means I'm legally an Ellertson now! YAHOO! I just have to get the license all figured out. So that's another big event.
3. One of my best friends from college came into town and we all had a little reunion with all the girls. Eesh (Alicia) moved to Pheonix with her hubby after graduation, so it was really great to see her. While catching up we confessed to each other how we stalk each other's blogs and she told me I needed to post more. So this one is for her. I think I'm going to post another one as well about my adventures in the kitchen.
All in all though, a big, wonderful, eventful day. I've been incredibly blessed in my life and I realize that the Lord just keeps on pouring on the blessings. I truly am so grateful for all of them and hope to be able to exemplify that more. YAY GOOD DAY!
I agree! You need to post more! Aaand we should have gone to the Social Security office together! Bummer. I was there FOREVER--it would have been a great time to catch up. Haha. I'm glad everything is going so well for you! It makes me oh so happy. :)
