Tim and I will have our first anniversary next month. NEXT MONTH! One whole year. It flew by. I can't even believe it. Even more than that though, I can't believe how lucky I am. I love Tim so much and I'm ashamed to say that sometimes I take him for granted. He is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I'm so grateful for him. He's so patient with me and loves me so much and I just can't believe how lucky I am. Sometimes I look at him and it hits me that we're married, for eternity. I've only known him for 1.5 years, and so it's a little surreal at times; I've known a lot of other people longer than him. But I know that he's the person I want to be with the longest and couldn't do without. Anyway though...he's wonderful and amazing. This weekend was General Conference and I found out a couple new things about him that I didn't know before.
Did you know that Tim can play the piano?! I knew he could play. He told me he could play a couple hymns and a couple other songs, but he can actually play! I came downstairs after the first session thinking that his little sister AnnaMarie was playing, and it was TIM! He's good. He was playing tons of chords and sight reading and just doing great-he hid that talent from me. I didn't realize he could play so well. I don't play any instruments, I sometimes feel like I'm holding him back, seeing him play the piano makes me 1. want to encourage him to become a concert pianist (jk, but definitely encourage him to practice), and 2...try and learn myself. He's going to be such a great example for our children, I want to be able to impress them too. Anyway though...Tim is an exceptional drummer, an amazing ukulele serenader, and now a pianist as well. What a talented husband I have!
Yesterday, Tim and I found a bunch of his mission pictures and mission journals (we thought he'd lost all his pictures when we lost his laptop, but thankfully there were a couple albums at his parents' house that had been printed out). I was able to hear stories and read letters from his mission. THEN we looked through high school projects and year books. Basically...he's so amazing! and he has done so much! and he's just such a good man. He's so kind, patient, loving, and service oriented, not to mention funny and the best cuddler!
I am the luckiest girl ever.
LIKE! :)
