Halloween Fail

The Saturday before Halloween my boss threw a super sweet Halloween party at his new house.  Unfortunately, his house is so new that when I forgot the directions they'd emailed us at work 

(not thinking anything of it)

I was unable to locate his home since it couldn't find a location in 

mapquest/google maps/my gps on my phone.  

So no sweet Halloween party for me. 

I had gone out to Eagle Mountain to hang out with my mom, sister, and nieces and had gotten all ready so I took some pictures when I wasn't able to get there because I wanted to document my efforts/cute Halloween idea. 

Drumroll please.....

I was a a BEE HIVE! (A disappointed one at that).

I made awesome brownies with chocolate pudding on top so that the crushed oreo dirt and worms would stick to it.

I thought for getting this costume together in 15 minutes it was pretty good. I had bought that dress earlier in the day with my mom at Target just because I thought it was cute, then I thought...those spots kind of look like bees, and the idea was born.  After driving for about an hour back and forth /calling my mom and Sian to get directions when my phone gps failed, I went back to Sian's house.  It was still a fun night.  Hanging out with my mom and Sian, eating Chinese food  and watching Twilight.
