I believe character counts!: "Newt's character flaws in the open"

So...I'm not much of an activist.  I have my opinions and I like to share them but I never really proactively go out and try and make a difference.  I'm not sure a blog post constitutes making a difference either, but I'm doing it.

I am getting really sad in regards to the Republican nominee.  I really thought that Mitt was a shoe in-I still think he is the number one candidate, but I can't believe Gingrich has pulled the wool over people's eyes. He seems to evade all personal responsibility for his actions by blaming the media for twisting everything. I admit to thinking that he is a really smart man.  In fact, after the first couple of debates I even thought he'd be a good president.  But his true colors have shown.  Although he is very intelligent, when there is a lack of moral character to back up intelligence it can be devastating and cause more damage than a dumb person.  When we have such a strong leader both intellectually and morally in Mitt Romney why would anyone want Gingrich in office?

I really wish you could pin articles, but if there is no corresponding picture than you can't-so I'm going to post a couple links of why Newt Gingrich IS NOT a good candidate for president here and then pin it. (I have been trying to pin this for forever and it hasn't let me-so because I feel strongly about this I've made up my own picture to try and get the word out).

In this article:
"(an independent swing-voter) said during the 2008 presidential primaries. Asked whom (among the various candidates in both major political parties) she liked for president, this relative identified two: Barack Obama and Mitt Romney.
Why?
Because they both have nice families.
And so they do.
Which means that if, in 2012, Republicans nominate Romney, the character of the candidates will become a non-issue, and the election can become a true contest of ideas.
If, on the other hand, Republicans choose Gingrich, the campaign will be waged on a personal level. America deserves better."

However, if personal morals and character aren't enough, here is a direct example of Newt's lack of character while he was in office: "Newt Gingrich has a long record as a DC insider. His record includes being the only Speaker of the House to be reprimanded for violating ethics rules and resigning in disgrace as Speaker of the House."
(I tried posting a video but it wouldn't save properly, so go to my facebook page to see a youtube video about Newt while he was Speaker)
