Pillow refashion

My great friend Chanelle gave us her couch because they wanted one that would fit better in their apartment.  With the couch came two pillows-picture of one below.  Well...they were cute, but the suadey feeling freaked me out-it was just slightly icky and I wanted another craft project.  So...below are the pictures of my re-fashion of pillow #1.  We shall see what happens with #2.

Take a Pillow

And seem rip the covering off and you get this...ew is a correct response.

Sew back on the...looked/felt kind of like a dryer sheet-protective layer.

Take a cute, but out-dated sweater that would have been donated to DI.

Chop up the sweater and make it into a new covering for the pillow!

The two pillows...no for #2.

A little lumpy looking-much better in person. And so soft now. No icky suede feeling.

Two re-fashions in one. Huzzah! Crafty.
