TGIF

I've noticed that when you have to work full-time during the summer, the weeks seem to go by sooo slowly! I look forward to weekends so much and then by the time they get here, I blink, and then they're gone again.  I guess that's the life of an adult though.  People have to work, and playing all weekend makes it go by fast.  I'm so grateful today is Friday though because this week went by slow.  I never realized how nice it was being a lifeguard.  I mean...I wouldn't trade my current job to be a lifeguard again...my job now is much better.  But there are things I miss about it.  Getting tan.  Getting to swim as much as I wanted.  Getting to read a lot during my breaks.  Getting to move around and not stare at a computer all day. 

I'm complaining.  But really...I do enjoy my job a lot, it's just hard not getting to play  a ton in the sun during the summer.  And it feels like summer is almost over.  Even though I'm not going to be going back to school in a week or two-Tim will be. 

I'm just so grateful for the weekend.  So that we can play and relax and have fun before school starts up again.  That we have a couple more glorious weekends in the summer before they'll be filled with homework and papers.  YAY for Friday.  (This felt like a very, not-flowy, slightly awkward blog post.  I'm just kind of trunky today).
