This month has been really awesome. Mary is basically sleep trained and on a schedule (mas o menos)-Haleluia!
It's been kind of weird though because she is advancing mentally and with her personality but physically she doesn't seem to have changed much, so to me it's like she's just a funnier, more mobile 6 month old. Tim and I think this is an awesome stage. She sits up and is much more interactive and fun, but she's not crawling yet. ;-)
When Mary turned 6 months old is when we first started giving her real food too. And this girl loves her food!
So here are some of Mary's 7 month skills
- Eating solid food and loves it! Especially peaches and pears.
- Sitting up easily and for long periods of time.
- Just started sticking her tongue out while she's smiling (it's a pointy little thing)
- Now sleeping in a sleep sack with her legs loosely swaddled in a blanket (we're transitioning out of swaddling-um rough!)
- Likes to sleep with two binkies. One on her chain and a spare one. She likes to interchange them as she falls asleep.
- Starting to army crawl a little bit, very slowly and not big movements, but there is a little foreward action going on.
- Rolls around everywhere
- Is twisting out of the Bumbo (need to get a high chair-any recommendations?)
- Loves going outside and watching the leaves and birds in the trees
