I have definitely lagged behind in blog posts, but with these month posts I have become a little confuddled. Basically, each month post I have done has been the age Mary just turned (aka 8 months) but I write about that previous month and the things she has learned that month (aka how her 7th month was). Well...I'm a little behind, so for this month I'm just going to write about where we are and try and catch up a bit for her 9 months.
8 month stats:
Normally you don't have an 8 month appointment, you wait till the 9 months, but I have been a little worried about Mary's weight gain and how much she spits/throws up so we took her in to have her checked out.
Weight: 14 lbs 8 oz
Height: They didn't measure, but long. This girl is still growing taller.
Head: I think it looks good.
- Mary has just recently started waving (started a couple days before we went to Bear Lake).
- Is kind of army crawling if you incentivize her. I'm not trying to push her crawling a ton because that's a step that once you reach you can't go back and I'm not sure if I'm ready to reach it yet, but she is getting close to crawling. My family can get her to go after things and army crawl well.
- She can scoot backwards and turn around in circles as she sits.
- Loves talking, especially to herself.
- Still kicks tons and tons-It looks like she's running marathons.
